1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember information between page loads and across sessions.
2. Our Approach
We use only essential cookies. We do NOT use:
- Advertising cookies
- Marketing trackers (Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, etc.)
- Analytics that track individual users (no Google Analytics with user IDs)
- Third-party fingerprinting
- Cookies that persist beyond what's necessary
Because we use only essential cookies, we don't need to show a cookie consent banner under most interpretations of GDPR / ePrivacy.
3. Cookies We Use
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
PHPSESSID | Session management — keeps you logged in across page loads | Essential | Session (deleted on browser close) |
csrf_token | Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) protection on forms | Essential | Session |
locale | Remember your language preference | Functional | 1 year |
theme | Remember your theme preference (if applicable) | Functional | 1 year |
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some payment flows redirect you to our crypto payment processor (NOWPayments). Those pages are governed by NOWPayments' own cookie policy. We have no control over cookies they set on their own domain.
Once you return to our site after payment, only our essential cookies apply.
5. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, we may use localStorage or sessionStorage in your browser to:
- Cache UI preferences (collapsed/expanded panels, sort orders)
- Store temporary form data to prevent loss on page reload
This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
6. How to Manage Cookies
You can delete cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies
You can also block cookies entirely, but this will log you out and may break some features of the Service.
7. Do Not Track (DNT)
We don't track users for advertising or analytics purposes, so DNT headers don't change anything for us — we already don't track you regardless of your DNT setting.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we ever add a new cookie, we will update this policy and (if it's not essential) ask for your consent first.
